Winter’s Hell is a psychological and supernatural horror novel in progress that is rooted in memory, survival, and the fragile boundary between what is real, what is endured, and what may lie just beyond the physical veil.
The story follows Allen, a young boy growing up in an abusive home, where fear is not an occasional presence but a constant condition. As the winters pass, something begins to change. The new family home seems to come alive. Things go bump in the chilly winter nights. The nights stretch longer, and Allen becomes aware of something else within them. Something that watches, moves, and responds.
What begins as fear of the unknown slowly becomes something more unsettling: the realization that the terror may not be separate from him at all. What has caused it, his mother, his sister, or something within?
As Allen struggles to survive both the violence within his home and the presence that emerges alongside it, the line between external threat and internal response begins to collapse. His mind, shaped by trauma, starts to create its own reality, one that protects, distorts, and ultimately confronts.
Winter’s Hell does not rely on spectacle or traditional monsters. Instead, it explores the way fear forms, adapts, and lingers—long after the moment has passed. It is a story about endurance, perception, and the quiet, persistent horrors that do not leave when the door is closed.
These are not events remembered clearly.
They are remembered truthfully.
